Differences between Filtered Cigars and Cigarettes

To begin with, the very first difference between filtered cigars and cigarettes is its appearance. A cigarette is produced using a white wrapper while a filtered cigar is produced using a tobacco colored wrapper. It is very easy to distinguish between the two on basis of their appearance. Filtered cigars come in different flavors like cherry, vanilla, chocolate etc. while cigarettes mostly come in limited flavors like menthol, ultra etc.
Filtered cigars contain tobacco of a single type while tobacco used in cigarettes is a blend of more than one type of tobacco. With the help of cigar samplers, a buyer can now enjoy trying cigars of different brands and blends. Companies now provide different combinations of cigars at an affordable price which solves the problem of choice as a smoker can now try a number of brands and decide the best cigar from the available for him. With the help of internet, a buyer can now make the best cigar deals by having a detailed information regarding tobacco quality, tobacco content etc.
While such facilities are not provided for cigarettes. It is not so easy to spot filtered cigars at local cigarette shops where as it is comparatively easier to buy cigarettes from any local shop. Both, cigarettes and filtered cigars contain up to 1gm of tobacco but what differs is the quality of tobacco used in producing it.
